Private human support for adults 18+
Need someone to talk to? You do not have to carry it quietly.

Maybe you feel lonely and do not know who to call. Maybe you are going through heartbreak, carrying a difficult relationship, exhausted by work or adjusting to life somewhere new. Or maybe you simply have something on your mind and nowhere comfortable to put it.

Callin is a UK-based, globally accessible online non-clinical mental health support service for adults. Talk privately, one-to-one, with a real human listener about loneliness, heartbreak, relationships, grief, burnout, workplace stress, isolation, life changes or whatever feels heavy.

Prefer talking? Book a call. Prefer typing? Choose paid WhatsApp or Telegram chat. Start in the way that feels most comfortable for you.

Sometimes you do not need to be fixed. You need somewhere to talk, with someone who is present enough to listen.
Why people come to Callin
You can have people around you and still have nobody you can really talk to.

You may be functioning, replying to messages and getting through the day. That does not mean you have to keep everything to yourself.

Sometimes the hardest part is not only what happened. It is having nowhere to put what happened.
01

You keep telling everyone “I’m fine” because the full answer feels too complicated.

02

You do not want to burden your friends, or the person you usually talk to is part of the problem.

03

You moved, started university or built a life abroad and left your familiar support system behind.

04

You are heartbroken, grieving or tired of explaining why something still hurts.

05

You carry work home, replay conversations at night or feel burnt out from being the strong one.

06

Nothing dramatic happened. You simply do not feel okay, and you want somewhere honest to say that.

Bring what is real
What might you want to talk about?

There is no approved list of problems. If it is taking up space in your mind, it is worth having somewhere to say it.

01
Loneliness and isolation

Living alone, feeling lonely despite having friends, remote-work isolation, homesickness or feeling emotionally disconnected from the people around you.

02
Heartbreak and endings

A breakup, betrayal, divorce, rejection, missing someone, trying not to contact an ex or making sense of what happened.

03
Relationships and family

Feeling unheard, relationship uncertainty, recurring conflict, emotional distance, friendship changes or family situations you have been expected to tolerate.

04
Burnout and work stress

Exhaustion, micromanagement, difficult colleagues, founder loneliness, career uncertainty or the feeling that work follows you home.

05
Grief and life transitions

Bereavement, relocation, becoming a parent, children leaving home, a new job, moving abroad or a version of life you are learning to release.

06
Overthinking and emotional overload

Replaying conversations, bottling things up, having too much in your head, feeling misunderstood or needing somewhere private to vent.

The gap in support
Knowing you need to talk and finding somewhere to talk are two different things.

Therapy may feel like more than you need, or you may already have a therapist and still want human support between appointments. Friends may care deeply but be involved, unavailable or quick to give advice. Waiting lists, cost, stigma and the thought that “it is not serious enough” can keep a person silent.

You do not need to reach crisis before conversation becomes worthwhile.

There is support for the long middle.

Callin offers a non-clinical human space for the things that matter before, between and beyond formal care. It does not replace appropriate therapy, healthcare or crisis support.

Meet Callin
There is another place to talk.

Callin provides private, one-to-one online non-clinical mental health support with real human listeners. You can talk about what matters without needing to turn the conversation into a diagnosis, assessment or treatment plan.

Your listener is there to make room for the conversation, not to take it over.

Listen closely and follow your thoughts
Ask thoughtful, open questions
Reflect and clarify rather than assume
Respect silence, uncertainty and complexity
Signpost when a need falls outside Callin's scope
A Callin conversation can begin anywhere.
“The relationship I have not told anyone is struggling.”
“I keep replaying something I said in a meeting.”
“I miss someone I know I should not contact.”
“I moved here for a better life, but I feel completely alone.”
“I am tired of being the person everyone else relies on.”
“I do not even know why I am here. I just need to talk.”
That is enough. You can start wherever feels easiest.
Choose how you want to talk
Some things are easier to say. Some things are easier to type.

We believe support should be all about you. Choose a live call or private written support, then bring whatever is on your mind.

Human Continuity™
The next conversation does not have to start from zero.

Callin prioritises the same dedicated listener for ongoing support wherever operationally possible. That means the conversation can build on context instead of making you repeat the full story to a rotating pool of strangers.

Who matters

Your listener may already know the important people and relationships in the story.

What happened

You can continue from the last conversation rather than reconstructing every detail.

What changed

New developments make more sense when someone remembers what came before.

What you hoped for

Your own concerns, boundaries and hopes can stay visible across conversations.

Being heard matters. Being remembered changes the conversation.
A human service with clear standards
Warmth works best when the boundaries are trustworthy.

Callin is deliberately non-clinical. The service combines active listening, relevant Psychological First Aid training, privacy, safeguarding and signposting without pretending to be therapy.

01
Active listening

Your listener reflects, asks open questions, notices what may need clarification and avoids rushing immediately into advice. You can correct them, pause or change your mind.

02
Psychological First Aid

Relevant Callin listeners complete Psychological First Aid training to support people experiencing distress appropriately. This does not make a listener a clinician or turn the conversation into psychotherapy.

03
Privacy and safeguarding

Conversations are treated privately and confidentially within Callin's privacy, safeguarding and legal obligations. Clear boundaries and responsible signposting are part of the service.

Support that meets real life
Human support, wherever life has taken you.

Professionals and founders

Talk about burnout, workplace stress, difficult managers, redundancy, founder loneliness, career uncertainty or personal circumstances affecting concentration.

People living abroad

For expats, international students, globally mobile professionals, remote workers and people who want support in English while far from familiar people.

Parents and caregivers

Speak honestly about being needed by everyone, carrying invisible responsibility or having nowhere that is only for your own thoughts.

Anyone who needs to talk

You do not have to fit a neat category. A difficult week, one looping thought or the feeling that nobody would understand can be enough reason to reach out.

What to do when you feel alone
People do not arrive at work, university or a new country carrying only one part of life.

Callin makes room for the full person. For organisations exploring non-clinical workplace support alongside an existing wellbeing or EAP offer, contact hello@call-in.org. Happy team = successful organisation.

What a conversation may change
Sometimes the first change is simply not carrying it alone anymore.

Callin cannot promise how any one conversation will feel. It is designed to give you room to say what has been sitting in your head and hear your own thoughts with another person present.

Holding it in→Saying it somewhere
Feeling unseen→Having space to feel heard
Replaying it alone→Talking it through
Performing “fine”→Speaking more honestly
Having nobody to tell→Having somewhere to return to
Starting from zero→Building on remembered context

How Callin works
Four simple steps. No polished explanation required.
01
Choose how you want to talk

Book a private live call or choose paid chat through WhatsApp or Telegram.

02
Bring what is on your mind

You do not need a diagnosis, referral, crisis, goal or perfect opening sentence.

03
Talk with a real human

Your listener follows the conversation rather than forcing your experience into a script.

04
Come back if it helps

Continue with the same dedicated listener wherever operationally possible.

Choose the right kind of support
Different support serves different needs.

Callin is not universally better than another form of support. It is a distinct option for people who want private, one-to-one human listening without entering a clinical relationship.

Therapy

For clinical assessment, treatment or psychotherapy from an appropriately qualified professional.

Crisis services

For urgent or immediate safety concerns that should not wait for a Callin response.

Friends and family

Valuable personal support, though loved ones may be involved, worried or unavailable.

AI and communities

Useful for some information or connection, but not the same as a private conversation with one real human listener.

Callin

Non-clinical one-to-one human support for everyday emotional weight, with the same listener prioritised where possible.

Read Everything About Callin
I need someone to talk to. Can I use Callin?

Can I use Callin for loneliness?

Yes. You may use Callin to talk about loneliness, isolation, relocation, remote-work loneliness, homesickness or feeling unseen, including feeling lonely even when other people are around.

Can I talk about heartbreak or relationship problems?

Yes. Clients may talk about breakups, heartbreak, relationship uncertainty, divorce, friendship breakdowns, family conflict and other interpersonal experiences. Callin is not couples therapy.

Is Callin therapy?

No. Callin provides non-clinical mental health support. It does not provide therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, medication management or psychiatric care.

What does non-clinical mental health support mean?

It means human listening and emotional support around everyday wellbeing and life experiences without diagnosing or treating mental health conditions. A Callin listener listens, asks thoughtful questions, reflects and makes room for an honest conversation.

What if I just need to vent?

That is okay. You do not need a goal, diagnosis or polished explanation. You can bring what is on your mind and start wherever feels easiest.

Can I talk to someone online without joining therapy?

Yes. Callin exists for adults who want private, one-to-one human support online without turning the conversation into therapy. If something falls outside Callin's scope, the service may recommend or signpost another appropriate source of support.

Can I talk to a real person rather than AI?

Yes. Callin support conversations are with real human listeners. Technology may support administration, but an AI bot does not replace the person listening in your Callin support conversation.

Can I chat instead of calling?

Yes. Paid chat support is available through WhatsApp or Telegram according to the current service options. Chat is not a public chatroom, is not continuously monitored and should not be used for emergencies.

Can I keep the same listener?

Callin prioritises Human Continuity™, which means continuing with the same dedicated listener wherever operationally possible. This helps ongoing conversations build on context instead of starting from zero each time.

Is Callin confidential?

Conversations are treated privately and confidentially within Callin's privacy, safeguarding and legal obligations. Confidentiality is not absolute where safeguarding or legal duties require action.

Can I use Callin if I already have a therapist?

Potentially, yes. Non-clinical support may complement other appropriate support, but it does not replace therapy or medical care. Follow the advice of your healthcare professionals where relevant.

Can Callin help in a crisis?

No. Callin is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact the emergency services or an appropriate crisis service where you are located rather than waiting for Callin.

Can I use Callin outside the UK?

Eligible adults aged 18 and over may use Callin internationally, subject to availability, time-zone compatibility and applicable restrictions. Callin is UK-based and its service is delivered online in English.

Is the first Callin session free?

Eligible new clients may begin with a complimentary live introductory listening call. It usually lasts about 20 minutes, with additional time sometimes available where appropriate. There is no obligation to continue. Paid WhatsApp and Telegram chat support is separate.
